When you travel, you want one thing above all: to be online when you land, without a nasty surprise on your phone bill. That is exactly what Simhop helps with. We compare travel eSIMs from selected providers for more than 60 destinations, clearly laid out and focused on what matters on a trip.
Why Simhop exists
The eSIM market is growing fast. Dozens of providers advertise packages that differ widely in data allowance, validity, network, hotspot rules and price. If you just want the right deal for your trip, it is easy to lose track. Our goal is a comparison that answers one question: which eSIM fits my destination, my trip length and my data needs?
How we work
- Plan data: we collect prices, data allowances, validity periods and network information from providers and update them regularly. Every comparison shows when the data was last updated.
- Assessments: our provider ratings are based on plans, features and publicly available user reviews. We do not run our own lab tests and do not award test seals.
- Guides: we explain the basics, such as What is an eSIM?, setup on iPhone and Android, and the difference between eSIM and roaming.
- Destination know-how: for every destination we add notes on local networks, data needs and practical details.
Transparently funded
We are funded by affiliate commissions. We only compare providers we have a partnership with; our comparison does not cover the entire market. Commissions influence neither the order of plans nor our assessments. We explain exactly how this works on our Transparency page.
